Joey McLean(High Point Christian Academy) headed to James Madison University for basketball

High Point Christian senior point guard Joey McLean has committed to attend and play basketball at James Madison University of the Colonial Athletic Association. Joey averaged 19.6ppg and 4spg for this year’s 22-6 HPCA squad. He is the 8th NCAA Division I signee from High Point Christian in the last four seasons. He will become the 12th Cougar to play collegiate basketball since 2010. Joey will graduate as HPCA’s all-time leader in both points (1,067) and steals (237.) HPCA had a record of 77-15 and reached three NCISAA 3A Final Fours in his time at the school.
