HPCA won 14-3 behind the bats of Austen Coats, Grace Young and Ashlyn Kennedy. Coats was 2-4 with a double and 2 RBIs, Young was 2-3 with 2 runs scored and Kennedy finishing 3-3 with a walk and 3 RBI. Kennedy had a strong performance on the rubber holding North Raleigh Christian to one earned run and had 10 strikeouts.
HPCA travels to face Metrolina in the second round of the NCISAA on Tuesday.
