*****The HiToms are playing the Kernersville Bulldogs on Sunday at 6pm and we hear the Bulldogs have a lot of local players with them again this season…Heard this week that Austin Bain(SEG), Buck Bain’s boy, is with the ‘Dogs and last Summer K’ville had Brandon Burkes(Dudley HS) and if Burkes is Back again, then there will be a big bang before those fireworks hit on Sunday night after the game…Ray Crawford(Dudley HS) has also been with the Dale Ijames crew for the past few years and we all know Ray can play and can you say, he is fast becoming a veteran of the CVCL…’Toms and ‘Dogs on Sunday night in T’ville, with it being T’ville vs. K’ville for all the bragging rights/marbles…I am still looking for George Carter to come back and play in this league or in the Greensboro NABA one day….Carter might be on the comeback trail…..I know we all are, at one time or another….Big report on ‘Big Charlie’ Pannell this week….The big man has lost 15 pounds and he is dropping, as the temperatures start climbing…Roy Williams(UNC) was shaking his head, when he saw Charlie the other day and Roy said it is never to late to hit the lane…*****
