HPU’s Carroll, Jordan Selected For North-South All-Star Women’s Lacrosse Game

Senior attacker Mackenzie Carroll (Arnold, Md.) and senior midfielder Jasmine Jordan (Baltimore, Md.) of the High Point University women’s lacrosse team have been selected for the IWLCA North-South All-Star game, which will be played at Cabrini College, in Radnor, Pa., on Saturday, June 7. The Division I game is at 11:30 a.m.

Carroll and Jordan were both selected to the All-Big South first team and Jordan was named Big South Defensive Player of the Year for the second year in a row. Jordan was also named Big South Scholar-Athlete of the Year. They were among 22 players selected to the South Region team.

In the fourth season of HPU women’s lacrosse, it marked the first time any High Point player was selected to the North-South All-Star game.

Carroll finished her career as the Panthers’ all-time leader in goals (129), assists (134) and points (263) while Jordan finished as the leader in ground balls (193) and caused turnovers (114). Carroll scored 35 goals with 46 assists for 81 points this season. Jordan Scored 13 goals with five assists, 47 ground balls, 30 caused turnovers and 30 draw controls.

They led the Panthers to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances. HPU went 14-6 overall and 7-0 in Big South play this season. The program’s four-year record is 54-22.
