GREENSBORO, NC — Greensboro College Director of Athletics John Trice announced on Monday that Jena Cabe has been named the new Athletics Coordinator for the Pride athletic department.
Cabe graduated from Greensboro College in May of 2013 with a degree in Exercise and Sports Studies. During her time as a student at Greensboro College, Cabe was a member of the Pride women’s basketball team for two seasons (2010-2012) where she appeared in 51 games for the Pride starting in 50 of them. While on the court for the Pride, Cabe helped lead the Pride to a 34-18 mark during her two seasons where she averaged 8.5 points per game and 5.9 rebounds per game.
Following her graduation from Greensboro College, Cabe served as an assistant coach for the Pride women’s basketball team during the 2013-2014 season and helped lead the Pride 20-6 overall record.
