Ragsdale’s Monty Dixon named Assistant Coach of the Year

Ragsdale’s Lacrosse program received an impressive honor as Coach Monty Dixon was named US Lacrosse Men’s Assistant Coach of the Year. The award is a statewide honor, and is another outstanding award for Coach Dixon, as he was also named Piedmont Triad 4A Conference Assistant Coach of the Year. Through the leadership of Head Coach Ryan Kiser, the Ragsdale Men’s Lacrosse team earned a spot in the 4A State Playoffs this season. Congratulations to Coach Ryan Kiser, Coach Monty Dixon, and the entire Ragsdale Men’s Lacrosse Program.

  1. Congratulations to Coach Dixon and the entire lacrosse program. Well-deserved. Lots of good things going on at Ragsdale.

On a different note, any news on Coach Norwood at Ragsdale? Good luck to him as he’s hoping to get a coaching position in SC. I think he applied for a couple earlier this spring. That will be good news for him, and Ragsdale will be ready to move forward if he gets that job (or one of them) in SC. Any update, Andy? Quite the buzz out and about in the community the last couple of days.

  2. Rumors are that Ragsdale is bring back Johnny Boykin. This would be a big hire for Ragsdale! We’ll see what happens in next few day.
