New Hope Christian Academy’s Akela Maize (North Carolina State commit) has been chosen for the Celeste Burgess All Star Game! The game will be located/played in Winston Salem, NC on June 28, 2014!
Maize will be looking to make the plays and she has been looking good these days as she prepares for her stays with the Wolfpack in Raleigh for 2014/2015….Been hitting the inside shots, but Maize sways and she can now nail the treys and the free throws too…
Hoping to see a ‘Maize Craze’ in Raleigh and in WS….

To all parties concerned on the New Hope Championship lost and who’s at fault takes away from a great season of 30-0 with everything the team had to deal with threw out the season with deaths,injuries,accidents.Nobody mention getting robbed not being invited to Madison Square Garden with the season New Hope had last season.The one good thing about sports is that there’s always next season,so lets watch to see if the New Hope players can get back to the championship game.And remember never underestimate the heart of a champion…Good Luck to Coach Rudd and the New Hope team for a great season.
