Article pretty much places AD at fault. Will this be the straw that finally breaks the camel’s back?

Here are a few things to consider:
    1. By his own admission Julius Monk, Executive Director of Facilities for Guilford County Schools has known about this for some time.

    2. The Grimsley AD either didn’t raise hell about it or his complaints fell on deaf ears. Either one is unacceptable.

    3. Lomax seems very willing to fix the problem now that it has been exposed in the media.

    4. This is not a Grimsley problem. If this is an example of how Guilford County taxpayer money is managed, spent, and protected, then every taxpayer should be upset.

    5. We have yet to hear from the Grimsley representative to the Guilford County School Board, Jeff Belton. I know for a fact he has been contacted about this problem months ago.

I was told by a football parent that an email or text came out stating that the field will be repaired and ready for play in a few weeks. I hope that is true since we have been told that by the AD many times in the past. Time to get past the blame game and give the teams a decent place to practice and the track team a place to compete. The parents have a stake in this as well since Booster Club funds were drained two years ago to help with renovations. Can anyone confirm that these repairs will take place?
