Anna Hessenthaler(Southeast Guilford HS) commits to UNC-Wilmington and she will be a Seahawk softball player

Courtesy of Coach Shannon Cowart at Southeast Guilford High School:

Anna Hessenthaler, class of 2015, has committed to UNC-Wilmington. Anna has played softball for the Southeast Guilford Falcons for 2 years at the short stop position. She has been a Metro 4A All-conference player both her sophomore and junior year, as well as earning All-District and All-State honors both years. This year she was a member of the Gold Medal District 5 team in the State Games. She also plays travel softball for the Lady Blues Gold.

We are so proud of Anna Hessenthaler. She will make a huge impact at Wilmington as a future Seahawk.

  1. Congrats to Anna !! She is quite a player and a top student also. Bill Slayton and I watched her and both thought she could help the varsity baseball team — she was that good the day we saw her.
Dad Fritz is a great girls softball coach too.
Way to go Anna ! !
