Greensboro NABA tonight/Wednesday at Western Guilford High School:
Greensboro Reds 8
Piedmont Pirates 4

*****Well-played game through 8 innings tonight at WG, but it got a little crazy in the ninth…*****

The score was 3-1 Reds after eight innings and the ninth took on a whole new look, with the Reds posting 5 runs and the Pirates pushing three across the plate…

Losing pitcher Adam Foster pitched a whale of a game and I think he went 8 innings and he helped keep the Bucs in a position to pull of the win…

The Reds used several pitchers with their starter(Ty Powell), being relieved by Chris Eggers, who saw the boat get a bit rocky, but he quieted the storm and led the Reds into smoothe waters…Eggers gets the Win for the Reds, while David Coffey makes and takes the Save…Maybe one more pitcher saw time on the hill for the Reds and Brandon Ahrens came on to finish off the game for the Pirates and Ahrens could have grabbed the win, if the Piedmont Pirates could have found another poke or two, late in this contest….

Jermaine White had a huge night for the Reds with two Triples and the word is, this is the first time that a Red has hit for two three-baggers in the same game, in eight years of NABA league exsistance…..

We also had Tevon Clark with a Triple, but that is from our unofficial scorecard…

Another solid night for Daniel Massey and he joined Jermaine White from the Reds in our post game interview and we will have that posted for you in the morning…..

That final again, Reds 8, Pirates 4…..
