American Legion Baseball Updates, plus D.J. Artis(Southeast Guilford HS) commits to play baseball at Liberty University

Southeast Guilford High School’s D.J. Artis(OF) has committed to play college baseball at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia….Artis is a speedy outfielder and he will join the Flames at Liberty and he will play his college baseball in the Big South Conference with Liberty, Campbell, High Point University, Coastal Carolina and others….Artis is one of the rising stars in our area and he is also a rising senior, for the Falcons at Southeast Guilford High School….

from Monday night around our area….Post 81 Eastern Randolph 4, Winston-Salem 1….ER and WS are tied at 1 game each in their Best-of-Five Round Two Series and Game Three goes at 7pm at Winston-Salem…

The Kernersville Dirt Devils lead the High Point Hi-Toms Two-Games-to-None in their Best-of-Five Series, after K’ville took last night’s game 2-1 over High Point….

The Mooresville Moors/Post 66 is out in front of Southern Rowan Two-games-to-None in their Best-of-Five Series, with Post 66 taking Monday’s game 10-6 over SR….

Rowan County leads Mocksville Two-games-to-None and the Davie County-Mocksville bunch beat Mocksville 10-5 on Monday….Rowan County’s up 2-0 in another Best-of-Five matchup….

The Southeast Guilford Junior Legion team will hosting Eastern Randolph on Wednesday night in Game One of their Round Two, Best-of-Three Series at SEG, as ER just finished off Rowan County on Monday night….The winner of the SEG-ER series will play in the State Championship Series next week down near Raleigh…..SEG-ER at 7pm on Wednesday, at SEG, at 7pm…..
