Cole Aker (Northwest Guilford) to UNC
Breydan Gorham (Western Alamance) to Appalachian State
Seth Hardin (Providence Grove) to Appalachian State
Cesar Trejo (Ragsdale) to UNCG

*****We got a background check in on the Hardin kid from Providence Grove and we were sent and came up with some real good info on the kid and his family…Son of Greensboro legend Phil Hardin, from the Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department…Phil at Lewis, Glenwood and many other Rec Centers in town over the years….

Here is what we have so far on Seth:
Seth Hardin, 2015 pitcher from Providence Grove High School (climax) verbally committed to play baseball at Appalachian State this week.
1.66 era last season
88mph fastball
74mph curveball
78mph slider
78mph change up
Father Phil Hardin played football at Appalachian State (’82 & ’83) and is now an assistant Athletic Director for the City of Greensboro.
Sister Logan Hardin has played 3 years as a solid role player for Guilford College woman’s basketball team.

    So proud of Seth, Cole and Braydan. They’ve played together on and off since they were 9 years old. All play for an outstanding facility…NC Baseball Academy under Scott Bankhead. “Hard work does pay off!” They are all awesome kids.

    Congratulations to all these young men!! Terrific testament to hard work and commitment to excellence. All played together several weeks ago on the Region 5 Team for State Games. It was great to see them play together for a change! Best of luck!
