K’ville ends up with split in DH on Sunday as Duncan Everett picks up 5th win of year and Kevin Jordan(Wake Forest U) running with the ‘Big Dogs’

Kernersville(43-10) Defeats Roanoke Rails 13-0 and fall 2-1 in doubleheader at Kiwanis Park in Salem, Va Sunday. Duncan Everett and Alex Embler hurled the shutout in game one with Everett picking up his fifth win of the year for Kernersville. Guilford College ‘s Kyle Humphrey with three hits, Chris Corbett and Kevin Jordan paced the Bulldog attack.

In game two the Roanoke Rails scored late in the game pulling out a 2-1 victory. Tanner Mathis and Brandon Burkes paced the offense and Josh Stephens had the lone RBI for Kernersville.
