ELON, N.C. – After players report to campus on Sunday, August 3, the Elon Phoenix football squad will begin its first preseason camp under the leadership of head coach Rich Skrosky on Monday, August 4. The first of 25 preseason practices will begin at 7:15 p.m. at the Hunt and Tucker practice fields. All of Elon’s preseason practices are open to the public.
Over the course of camp, Elon will hold four scrimmages inside of Rhodes Stadium. The first of those will come at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, August 11. Camp will conclude with a 2:15 p.m. practice on Sunday, August 24.
The Phoenix will open its 2014 campaign with a 6 p.m. game at Duke on August 30. Season tickets and mini-packs are still available and can be purchased by calling the ticket office at 336-278-6750 or online at elonphoenix.com.
