Charlie Cobb was the director of athletics at Appalachian State University for over 9 years and now, as in right now, this Fall, Cobb is on his way to take the same director of athletics position at Georgia State University, in Atlanta…

A bold move for Charlie Cobb, who came to ASU from N.C. State(assistant AD) and Cobb led Appalachian on their move to the NCAA FBS level of play for not only football, but all sports that the Mountaineers participate in…Cobb was also on board when APP let Jerry Moore go and named Scott Satterfield as the head football coach…

Cobb made the key moves, now he is leaving APP and moving back to Atlanta….

Where does this leave APP, we will find out soon…..
