Looking for some competitive High School Football fans

We will start our high school picks contest for Week One and we should have that list of games up for you by tomorrow afternoon….Contest sponsored by the Texas Roadhouse on Battleground Avenue and the winner each week will receive a FREE appetizer from the Texas Roadhouse and at the end of the of the season, we will take all of the Weekly Winners and have a drawing among them and that lucky winner will receive Dinner for Two at the Texas Roadhouse on Battleground Avenue…They have those excellent steaks and the ‘fall off of the bone ribs’ and much, much more….

We will have the Guilford County games for you to select from for your Winners and hope to have at least 13 games in the mix each week and if we need to go outside the county, we will head to someplace like Reidsville, Forsyth County, Randolph County and off course the good schools of Alamance County..We don’t very much with Davidson County since Sheriff Hege was forced out of office…

Contest will get going late tomorrow or early Thursday….

  1. Sheriff Hege being put out of office is the reason that I actually go to Davidson again. That guy had problems. The Alamance county sheriff is cut from the same mold so be careful when visiting the Alamance county school if you can pass for Mexican.

  2. I did some reading on Sheriff Hege at Wikipedia earlier tonight and that was quite a retrospective look at the past…

He was a piece of work and his motto was “No Deals” and in the end he had to cut a plea bargain deal to avoid time served…
