Who will be the High School Football Player of the Week for Week #2???

Last week’s Winner for Week #1 and it was Kevin Gehsmann(Western Guilford HS) being named the ‘Jim Modlin’ High School Football Player of the Week, from GreensboroSports.com staff member Dennis White and his editorial review board and who will be the top player this week???
Jim Modlin High School Football Player of the Week, presented by Chik-fil-A………Winner gets a prize pack from Chik-fil-A….

Week #2 is on the skew and how ’bout you??? Who will “do the do” for Week #2??

Here are some of the key numbers that were turned in and you may have more to add in and that game from Jamiel Mack was pretty darn impressive and we will what you have to say and at the end of the day, what Coach White has on his ‘tray of the day’……

Here it ’tis, with Brother Tisdale in the house…..

QB Jamiel Mack from High Point Central:240 yards passing with 4 TD’s going 12-16 and Mack had 163 yards rushing and 4 TD’s
Reggie Gallaspy from Southern Guilford…Reggie had 241 yards and 4 touchdowns and now Reggie sits at 487 yards and 7 TD’s for the season…
C.J. Freeman from Northern Guilford….C.J. in his first game of the season had unofficially 223 yards rushing and three big TD’s with two running and one receiving for the Nighthawks….
Darius Graves(Dudley): With 155 yards and 2 TD’s….Most of the damage from Graves came in the first half alone….This only includes Graves rushing totals, we do not have access to his return yards…
Josh Homol(Northwest Guilford):The Vikings’ QB had three TD’s passing and two more running for the Vikes in their win over the WG Hornets…
D’Shaun Taylor(Western Guilford):Hornet quarterback had a very big game vs. Northwest Guilford with two rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns….

Got more, maybe some of the defensvie player derserve special consideration this week, but with Mack, there is no looking back…..

  1. You can’t go wrong with a player that accounted for 8 touchdowns in less than a full 3 quarters of action.
