Excellent interview with Jones Angell talking to Marquise Williams on Saturday night after Heels’ win over SDSU

Caught some of this interview off of the radio and then some later on, on-line, and this was the first time I had the chance to hear Marquise Williams being interviewed and I was impressed by how personable this young man was….He was right-on, right-in there, with Jones Angell and to hear Williams, he sounded a lot like former Carolina Panther Steve Smith, when it came to the sound and dialect that Marquise Williams projected…

Real good kid on the interview and it almost sounded like Williams and Jones Angell were sitting around the dinner table at the ‘House of the Heels’ somewhere and that is just how personable this one-on-one discussion was going on….

Marquise Williams, not bad at all and I could listen to this kid talk more and you know when the player being interviewed calls the man doing the interview by his first name(Jones), that man of the moment(Marquise Williams) was very relaxed and he sounded like he had known Jones Angell his entire life…

Good stuff after a long day of College Football Saturday….

  1. Speaking of Heels, TJ Logan should go ahead and transfer. His days are numbered with Williams getting most of the rushes and Hood getting familiar with the offense. He needs more than 8 rushes a game

  2. I was telling someone the same thing yesterday afternoon about TJ…He doesn’t appear to be in line to be the primary back right now with Williams, Hood, Morris, Francis and all of the others that they have on hand, and how can you get more than 8-10 carries a game with all of those guys back there…

TJ is doing very well on kickoff returns but that won’t get you to the big show, just on those alone…

If he did leave, he could do much better down the road and the key is to put up enough numbers to get a good look from the pros…

I still remember back when Chris Warren left UVA/Virginia and went to Ferrum and he made it to the NFL from Ferrum and did very well with the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL…

It can be done and Warren put together about a 10 year run in the pros out of Ferrum and TJ could do it too, coming out of Guilford, NC A&T, Appalachian, Western Carolina, Charlotte, any of those smaller teams/schools…Hey even Winston-Salem State…Phil Simms son left UVA and landed over there with the Rams…

Why not get a list together and be ready just in case….

  3. I’m sure T.J. would not mind at all following the route of Chris Johnson….On to the Titans by way of ECU…

  4. ANDY,

DON’T LOSE SITE OF THE FACT THAT THIS A ENTIRELY DIFFERENT LEVEL. NOW WHEN HE GETS THROUGH THE LINE
HE’S LOOKING AT BIGGER AND FASTER LB’S AND DB’S.
HOOD ISN’T BOWLING OVER PEOPLE AS HE DID IN HS

    D1 IS NOT HS.
