Friday Night Finish:SEG rides the “BubbaBomb.com”

Southeast topped Ragsdale with the BubbaBomb.com getting the job done…We may have to start making that the new name out there for the SEG Falcons’ quarterback, Ryan Craven as the “BubbaBomb.com” cause he was ‘The Bomb’ in leading his team to win tonight…

Craven and Southeast defeat Ragsdale 14-11 and this game had plenty of turnovers and penalties in the first half, but it turned out to be a good game, with both teams having multiple chances to win this contest in the second half…

In the end with the “BubbaBomb.com” going off, Southeast Guilford wins it for the home folks….

Props to Bubba Craven, Greg Liggs, Styles Jennings, Zakey Stevenson and other on the SEG side and Bubba was throwing the ball tonight and the passing game helped push the Falcons over the top…Ragsdale gets props for Tevin Quick, real big props and a big receiving game for T.J. Parker, plus Mark Bailey, Xan Swaim and Bryce Walker on the Ragsdale defense…

The high snap over the head of the Ragsdale punter Xan Swaim led to the first SEG Falcon touchdown and with that TD and the failed two-point conversion, SEG was in front and they never trailed all night…Lead was trimmed to 6-3 on the Ragsdale 25-yard field goal by Lucas Hicks….Hicks missed one from 39 yards out that would have tied the game at 6-6 and then SEG added another score to make it 12-3 and then the Falcons successful two-point conversion pass from Craven to Liggs made it 14-3…SEG got their score on a run by the “BubbaBomb.com”….

I thought we might see another fantastic finish when Ragsdale cut that lead to 14-11, but it was not meant to be and SEG earned their home win tonight…Quick on a run for the Ragsdale TD and Quick to Chole for the two-point conversion…Quick to Parker was a main hook-up all night long for Ragsdale, but at the end it was the “BubbaBomb.com that made the difference tonight….

I’m looking over this list with Dudley Open, High Point Central falls to West Forsyth, Northern Guilford takes care of Reidsville, Southern Guilford romps at Smith and do we have the touchdown totals and yardage for Reggie tonight???? What about Freeman, Harris and Reynolds for NG? How Jamiel Mack do over at West Forsyth? Was Mack held in check tonight?I’m asking all of these questions because I haven’t seen reports on the other games tonight, have just been seeing scores…

Just three Unbeatens left correct?

Dudley, Northern Guilford and Southern Guilford…..

Southeast Guilford now at (3-1) and Ragsdale falls to (3-2)….That Tiger-Falcon game was some kind of tight game late…Could have been some game-changing events, but they did not happen…SEG got the job done….

We heard that Western Guilford picked up another heart-stopping win tonight, this time 30-27 at WS Reynolds….Must have been a last-second field goal from Gehsmann that won it for the Hornets…Game was tied at 27-27 last by our account…

Southwest Guilford wins at Southern Alamance and the Cowboys are at (3-2) half way through the 2014 year….

Page is still looking for their first win and I believe they have High Point Central up next…..Northeast Guilford still searching for win #1 and Eastern Guilford is on the ‘Hot List’ at (4-1)….

Not sure how Northwest Guilford came out, but we will go checking on the Vikings soon(Vikings fall 31-28 to Reagan)…Last word we got was NWG had fought back at WS Reagan….NWG came up just a bit short…

Page still trying to find that first win, Grimsley with one win, NEG does not have their win yet….Smith a win, Andrews now has a win and would this be our 11-15 Guilford County teams or do you have other ideas…..

Dudley Open, High Point Central falls, NG wins, SG wins, NWG falls, Ragsdale falls, SEG wins, WG wins, SWG wins, Smith falls and those are the results for our Top Ten….

High Point Christian wins again to go (5-0) and are these HPCA Cougars for real now in football….

More of our Friday Night Finish to follow after we go read a few articles….Matthews Butler and Richmond County will meet on Saturday night at Providence High in Charlotte….Providence seats 5,000 and they had rain on their field this week, while Butler only seats 2,500…Field needed some drying out and the big game was moved to Saturday night….

More Friday Night Finish on the way…We are here until 1am…
