We will have our GreensboroSports Radio broadcast team at Jamieson Stadium tonight at the Grimsley Whirlies play host to the Northwest Guilford Vikings….Air time is right around 6:46pm and the kickoff will come at 7:30…Dennis White and Nathan White will join us for the broadcast and you can catch here at the site by clicking on the GreensboroSports Radio link at the top of the home page or by tuning in 97.7FM at the stadium….Grimsley vs. Northwest tonight at Jamieson Stadium and here is the full listing of this evening’s contests in and around Guilford County….Be sure to follow Don Moore here at our site all night, as Don will keep you up-to-date on all of your scores from the area games going on tonight….

Northern Durham(0-5) at Dudley(4-0)…Dudley should get this one put to bed early tonight and then be able to give some of the reserve some prime time minutes…Young QB Hendon Hooker is still developing, but this might be a game where he rests most of the 4th quarter…

Western Alamance(5-0) at Northern Guilford(4-0)…Very big one tonight at Johnny Roscoe Stadium and the ‘Big Three’ from NG should be able to make a positive impact on this one with Harris, Reynolds and Freeman appearing to be just a bit too much for WA to handle…

Northwest Guilford(3-2) at Grimsley(1-4)…Will get to see NWG open up that spread offense and let that passing game take over tonight and it will be a very good opportunity for Grimsley to step and play some tight pass defense in an attempt to slow down the Vikings….NWG is now wide-open and Grimsley will battle to shut down NWG QB Josh Homol tonight….Receivers Thomas Hennigan, Mark Garner and Kevin Henry having big seasons and Grimsley has made a change at QB and will see how the young Simpson kid can carry the load…

Southeast Guilford(3-1) at Southwest Guilford(3-2)….Two outstanding quarterbacks set to lead their respective teams heading into this one, with Ryan ‘Bubba’ Craven and Devonte Cross the main men for SEG and SWG….Craven(SEG) and Cross(SWG) can get it done and the edge will go as it almost always does, to the team that can find a way to play some better defense….Watch out for Jesse Michaux(SEG) and the Colton Weeks-Juan Pagan(SWG) combo and we’ll see who has the most left at the end of this game….Non-conference, but all-action….SEG won big at SEG last year and SWG is looking to turn that around…

Page(0-5) at High Point Central(4-1)…Page has to find that first win of the season some day, but they have to go face a HP Central squad that is coming off of that tough road loss to West Forsyth…Got to be thinking that HPC being back home at Simeon and trying to get back into the victory circle will be giving the Bison a boost tonight….

Ragsdale(3-2) at East Chapel Hill(0-5)…This will be a good night for Ragsdale to open up the offense up and dig into that playbook and work on some things that have not been going your way….Got to feel that the Tigers will get this game in proper order with a lot of work for Brandon Harris on the ground and with Tevin Quick hitting T.J. Parker and Taylor Still by air, before they go beyond the 56/55 plays that work as their bread and butter….

Southern Guilford(5-0) at North Forsyth(1-3)…North claimed the JV game last night by a whopping 34-14 score and you have to be thinking we won’t see a repeat of that tonight….Reggie Gallaspy has a lot of folks attention, but Coach Pete Gilchrist and his NF Vikings can only do so much when it comes to trying to put the brakes on Reggie….Gallaspy can gallop and he is due another 250yds./4 TD game at North…Even if you stop the rest of the SG Storm attack and let Reggie get his, as they try and do sometimes in basketball, you are still in a load of trouble…As soon as the SG Storm QB Nathan Stoner gets the ball in Reggie’s, you are in trouble….Quite a challenge, but that is what makes these games fun….

Ledford(3-1) at Western Guilford(2-3)…Kevin Gehsmann has been the man for WG and he will have to be ‘The Man’ again tonight if Western has any chance to knock off the Ledford Panthers…Ledford plays a tough brand of football and they still have Dickie Cline over there as their assistant coach and that spells trouble for Western….WG needs to continue to find ways to get the ball into the hands of the ‘Big Play’ men Keenan Stevens and Christian Sarpy and then if they need the crunch in the clutch, get the ball to Gehsmann and he can get you that short/key yard/yards….QB Tevan Evans has remained cool when the games are tight and he will need to refresh that quality and use it again tonight….

McMichael(1-4) at Eastern Guilford(3-1)…This should be one of those nights where Eastern Guilford can let a lot of kids play because those same young men won’t be getting those minutes in a few weeks when Northern Guilford, Western Alamance and Eastern Alamance come calling…Jarius Morehead will need to seize the moment tonight from the time he sets foot on the field and make his Wildcat teammates realize that they can’t take it easy on McMichael and that the ‘Cats need to get this one in books early with a very serious effort and then the can rest the rest of the way as the younger players get their chance, but Morehead, Davis and company have to be on their guard early and not let up until they have this game under the wraps….

Reidsville(3-2) at Northeast Guilford(0-4)…This could be a long night for the Rams, the NEG Rams that is…This will be an endowment game and the Reidsville Rams try and make every game an EnWOWment game and is one of the problems you face when you have to start facing one of these Jimmy Teague-coached teams…NEG is in for trouble tonight and for some reason, that seems to be our ‘word of the day’, “Trouble”….Hope that is not the case, but this seems like the place and Reidsville is coming in on a slight losing skid and they will look to turn that around at Bill Bookout Stadium this evening…

High Point Andrews(1-3) at North Surry(2-3)…We are down to our final game for tonight and for some reason, it seems like the longer we write this previews, the more we tend to write and we often times start out light and then get longer as we go further down the line…Not sure what to expect in this one, not knowing one thing about North Surry and we could end up getting ourselves in trouble and there goes that word again, but with the big win over Bartlett Yancey last Friday night, Andrews should be ready to roll right??? You would think and we would look for JD Hill to have a big game for Andrews this evening…..
