A Rolesville football player who collapsed on the field before Friday’s game against Southeast Raleigh was listed in critical condition Sunday at WakeMed Hospital.

Witnesses at the game said Isaiah Langston collapsed during the pregame warmup and was rushed to the hospital.

Ashley Brooke-Daniels, Rolesville student body president, told WRAL News on Sunday that Langston was in the Intensive Care Unit.

Langston, a linebacker, is a junior.
