College Women’s Soccer Final – Salem 4, Guilford 0

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Salem College’s Nataly Mojica led the Spirits with three points in a Wednesday night victory over Guilford College, 4-0.

Mojica scored Salem’s first two goals in the 9th and 31st minute with Mojica’s 9th minute goal assisted by Taylor Norman. Mojica would be on the giving end of Tarryn Bundy’s goal in the 52nd minute to increase the lead, 3-0. Tarryn Johnson booted in Salem’s final goal in the 75th minute.

Salem outshot the Quakers, 18-8. The Spirits also held the advantage on corner kicks, 10-2.

Caitlin Young stopped seven shots in net for the Quakers. Salem’s Kimmi Templeton made three saves.

Coach Michael Shenigo’s Quakers are back in action Saturday, hosting Bridgewater College at 6 p.m. in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference contest.
