Wonder what a game with Dudley vs. Southern Guilford would look like???

We know Southern Guilford has Reggie Gallaspy with over 1,800 yards and 27 touchdowns on the season, but would that be enough to get SG past that stingy and tough Dudley Defense???

We won’t see that game this year, but it is still fun to speculate, right???

If Reggie got rolling and the game was C.K. Siler Stadium, you never know and we will never know, because these two strong high school football programs do not meet….That Dudley ‘D’ with Trae Meadows, Simeon Gatling, Eli Harris, Randall Diabe, Nizaire Cromartie, Romel Powell and others will not give up much ground and they love to tackle in numbers and that is how you have to get the real good runners to the ground…..

Would be a real interesting game, but we will have to leave the Dudley vs. Southern Guilford in our fantasy league, but what about a meeting with Dudley and High Point Central, this could happen….

Plus we might get a shot to see a rematch of 2012 when Southern Guilford traveled to Northern Guilford and the Storm led by Malik Moseley, Reggie Gallaspy and Camden Ball on offense, fell to the Nighthawks in Round Three of the NCHSAA football playoffs….NG was paced by their 3,000-plus yards back, Thomas Jefferson Logan….Could we see Southern going back to Northern this season in the 3-AA playoffs or will it be Northern making the trip down to Southern this season??? NG has a loss and the SG Storm remain Unbeaten….

Will see Eastern Guilford climb into the playoff mix with Northern and Southern??? The Wildcats have only lost one game this season and they have Northern coming to Tommy Grayson Field at EG in two weeks….Eastern usually goes East, but maybe this year they end up in the West and get another shot at Southern or possibly Northern too in the postseason…..

We again only have two Unbeaten teams left in Guilford County and when you CLICK HERE you can get a look at all of the Unbeatens across the state of North Carolina…..This week the number is at 36, if I read this post from Brian Barnes at the Carolina GridIron correctly….(www.carolinagridiron.com)

I was doing some reading within the CGI post and found that Wilson Fike is still Unbeaten, but Wilson Hunt is not…..Hunt is the team that Northern Guilford used to always meet in Round Four of the playoffs, which in turn pretty much turned out to the NCHSAA Eastern 3-AA Championship Game….Randy Raper, an Elon graduate, used to be the head coach at Hunt, but now he is over at Northern Nash and NN visits Wilson Hunt this Friday and that ought to be a fun road trip….Hunt and Fike meet in the last game of the regular season……
