GC Pride Men’s Golf Completes Play in 9th Place Tie

FLOWERY BRACH, GA — The Greensboro College men’s golf team concluded play at the Royal Lakes event on Tuesday afternoon. The Pride men entered Tuesday’s final round of play in a 9th place tie and would remain the after the final 18 holes of play.

After finishing day one of the event with a two under par round on Monday, John Grime finished the event in a 5th place tie overall at one under par after shooting a one over 73 on Tuesday’s final round. Chad Gehres finished one stroke behind Grimes on the final day with a two over par 74. Jared Dillard, Bryan Morris, and Tommy Conway also contributed to the team scores.

Greensboro College individual Tristan Lough finished the event with a two over par 74 to finish in a 21st place tie overall in the 94 player field. His Greensboro College teammate Christan Hodge also competed in the two day event as an individual finishing in a 29th place tie three stroke back with a two day total of seven over par 151.

The Greensboro College men’s golf team will return to action this weekend at the Golf Week Invitational Tournament that will be held in Sandestin, FL.
