  1. Good game between Dudley and Page tonight. This was my first time seeing both teams all season. Congratulations to Dudley on the win. The future looks bright for both schools.

  2. Good Solid win last night by the Southwest Cowboys. They played well both offensively and defensively to remain undefeated on the year. Congrats to the Cowboys!

  3. Page didn’t lose due to the officials, but the back judge was horrible. Failed twice to stop the clock during penalty administration, and had no clue what a 25 seconds clock is. Faded to realize that one never lets a receiver ourr punt returner get behind him. And 300 pound BJ don’t need to officiate, just run the field clock.

  4. Ragsdale 17

    East Forsyth 0

Awesome win for the Tigers last night. They played great offensively and the defense pitched a shutout!

  5. Dudley vs. Page JV demonstrated how a QB that has only passed 5 times in three games can will himself to a close victory with heart. Page has five primary plays in its repertoire on Thursdays. When the “bread and butter” didn’t suffice, the coaches placed the game in the hands of its QB. The young man exhibited poise in the pocket under duress, but the OC had him throwing into the teeth of the Cover 2 defense. Mirroring the failures of the Friday night play calling, an interception was thrown because he had one read during the 2 minute drill.

Dudley was flagged more than Page at a 3:1 ratio. If the athletes knew how to stop the play action pass, Page would have been more successful, but the wins as Lewis and Mendenhall don’t equal to championships. Let’s examine where the heart and soul of the varsity team attended middle school and their recreation program.

No disparaging remarks were made; this was an objective criticism of the culture of football on the northern side of Greensboro and the New Irving Park area. Diversify the play calling and allow the athletes to showcase their talents.
