Ragsdale Women’s Golf Enjoys Outstanding Season

The Ragsdale Tiger Women’s Golf team finished 7th in the state championships at Pinehurst #1. Leading the Tigers was Senior Joliana Elias, shooting 79-79 for a 17th place finish. Freshman Madison Isaacson shot 88-83 for a 45th place finish individually and Junior Brooke Fields finished 65th with a 98-91. This tournament capped a terrific season that included a Piedmont Triad 4A Conference Championship, a Conference Tournament Championship, the North Carolina High School Athletic Association’s Central Regional Championship, and finishing 7th out of 83 teams in the State. Head Coach Dan Turner was also the recipient of an outstanding honor, as he was named Women’s Golf Coach of the Year for the Piedmont Triad 4A Conference. Coach Turner, along with the excellent coaching of Coach Glenn Collins, provides the Tiger program with the coaching that will be a tremendous asset for our RHS Golf Program for years to come. We’re proud of this year’s accomplishments, and tremendously excited about the future of the Ragsdale Tiger Golf Program. Congratulations to all of the Tiger Golfers and a championship season!!!
