Harrison Kiser(Page High School) Bob Sawyer Guilford County High School Player of the Week

Harrison Kiser(Page High School) the kicker and the punter for the Page Pirates and highly successful we might add, has been named the Bob Sawyer Guilford County High School Football Player of the Week by the Greensboro Rotary Club and congratulate Harrison on this honor…

He has been kicking as the top foot for the Pirates since he was a freshman and this kid does the punting, the kickoffs, the field goals and the extra points for the Pirates….He does not do the holding, I think his QB handles those duties, but the kid can do it all for Page, as the Pirates hit the road to face Ardrey Kell in Round One of the NCHSAA 4-A Playoffs on Friday night…

Kudos to Kiser and to Coach Kevin Gillespie at Page and in related matters, sort of interesting, Will Johnson(High Point Central HS), the punter and backup field goal/X-point man for Winston-Salem State, is the holder for his fellow-kicker Alejandro Suarez of the Rams…The one kicker is the holder for the other, his teammate and the kickers should know how the other kickers want that ball placed down for the boots…

Another related matter, Christian Cokely(Dudley High School) was our Jim Modlin GreensboroSports Player of the Week for this past week, as determined by Dennis White and his staff….
