Willie Bivens from Eastern Guilford signed early on Wednesday November 12th to Campbell University for wrestling.
He had to choose between 4 schools which were Pittsburgh, Maryland, Appalachian and Campbell.
Not only did he win states last season as a junior, he has placed at National tournaments (6th at Flonationals and 8th at Super 32) and won a tournament held in NY which has the reputation of being one of the toughest called the Journeyman Classic that you can only wrestle in by invite only.
Willie is one of the 4 NC wrestlers that placed at the Super 32. He chose Campbell because Cary Kolat (an Olympian) UNC just took over their wrestling program.
