This afternoon the Guilford College Quakers knocked off the Emory & Henry Wasps 52-28 in college football and Quaker junior quarterback Matt Pawlowski(Northwest Guilford HS) was 38-48 passing for 389 yards and 5 TD’s…..

Matt Pawlowski has passed Josh Voglebach’s 37 TD’s, with Matty P.’s 38th touchdown of the season today and that should also make him the NCAA DIII touchdown passing leader for this season.

Gilford ends up at 8-2 and out of playoffs and the Old Dominion Athletic Conference’ Hampden-Sydney is in with a 7-3 record. The tie-breaker goes to H-S, since the Tigers defeated the Quakers last week, 35-28 in OT and if not for that loss, the Guilford College Quakers would be in the NCAA DIII playoffs for what I would think would be the first year ever…

Austen Thompson(Southern Guilford HS) caught three of Matty P.’s TD’s today and Thompson had 71 yards receiving to along with his three touchdown receptions on the afternoon….

Good job Matt Pawlowski, the all-time single-season touchdown passing leader at Guilford College….
