Guilford College’ season is done(8-2), Greensboro College’ season is finished(3-7), we had North Carolina over Duke 45-20 back on Thursday night and N.C. State is off this week, before the big game with North Carolina next Saturday…Today we do have our local A&T Aggies in action going for the MEAC Championship outright as A&T travels to Durham, to take on the Eagles of N.C. Central, in the Aggie-Eagle Classic and A&T has a chance to lay claim to sole possession of the MEAC Conference title with win at Central today…Winston-Salem State(9-2) went down to Durham last Saturday and could not bring back the CIAA Title and we hope the Aggies have better luck today….

Elon at James Madison NOON and this game can be seen on the local TV 48/MY48 and JMU is quarterbacked by Vad Lee, who used to be the main signal-caller for the Hornets of Durham Hillside…JMU 59, Elon 27….Thuc Phan(Page HS) had a good day for Elon with 87 yards rushing and Vad Lee(Durham Hillside HS) threw for 3 TD for JMU and he ran for one touchdown too….
