  1. Chris Carter is the head coach for Reidsville. Coach Carter is the former head coach at GW Danville.

  2. Good report on Reidsville….I thought that they made a change when Coach Walton got sick last year…MaxPreps has not made the adjustment yet….

Some good coaches have come out of Danville with Coach Carter, Coach Martin, Coach Harris was an assistant there and now he is at Western Guilford as the head coach…

  3. More on the Reidsville situation when Coach Walton stepped down last year and we had these details then, here at the site:

A good friend of high school basketball has been forced to step down due to health issues, as Reidsville Rams’ boys coach Bill Walton has resigned….Coach Walton is the former boys coach at Grimsley High School…

Very interesting history on his time and the time of the other coaches at Reidsville High over the years in the modern era of high school basketball…

Bill Walton, who was in his ninth season with Reidsville, was the third coach in the school’s history since World War II, following Hoy Isaacs (1946-83) and Ron Parson (1983-2005), who has since moved on to Danville (Va.) George Washington.…

*****Coach Chris Carter, the fourth coach in the history of Reidsville High School boys basketball.*****
