New Hope Christian Academy girls land in USA Today Top 25 Poll

Still doing some searching for a complete listing of this poll, but we do know that New Hope Christian Academy, from Thomasville and coach by former Wake Forest Demon Deacon Delaney Rudd, is at #7 in the Nation in the new USA Today Girls High School Basketball Top 25 Poll….New Hope has crashed the new poll at www.usatoday.com and this Phoenix group is on the move at (13-0) on the very young season…..Delaney Rudd has his girls playing on a national stage in Thomasville and beyond and here is more on the Phoenix from New Hope Christian Academy and again, this is coming in from USA Today….

This week four new teams made their way into the Super 25 girls basketball rankings with impressive starts to their seasons.

No. 5 Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia) made the leap from No. 47 as A.J. Timbers led the Saints to two wins in the Art Turner Memorial Tip-Off, including a 68-50 defeat of tournament host, then-No. 7 Paul VI (Fairfax, Va.).

Kholby Oliver had 13 points in a 45-45 defeat of then-No.16 Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, Md.) to propel Bishop McNamara to No. 6. The Mustangs are 3-0.
