First Annual LTPA National Baseball Academy debuts in North Carolina

Greensboro Bison Baseball and the LaDainian Tomlinson Preparatory Academy (LTPA) will be sponsoring the first LTPA National Baseball Program. The LTPA National Baseball Program to student-athletes ages 10-18. This program will be launched in five (5) different states: California, Georgia, Illinois, North Carolina and Texas.

This will be the first annual LTPA National Baseball Academy in North Carolina thanks to Coach JB Baynes and his staff, said Tomlinson, former San Diego Chargers Running Back and President of the Academy. “We’re committed to helping student-athletes enhance their performance both on the field and in the classroom by providing parents and students with the information they need to build their plan academically to obtain a NCAA athletic scholarship.”

The LTPA National Baseball Program will begin in January with state registration and will be open to all student-athletes in the area. The clinic will feature various instructional for age’s 10U-18U. The Academy is a resource for student-athletes aspiring to compete at a collegiate level. Offering programs that complement coaches’ instruction—not compete with it— the Academy ensures students improve their opportunities to earn an athletic scholarship in their respective sport.

Along with Coach JB Baynes, Tomlinson and his coaching staff consisting of collegiate and professional coaches will make appearances in each state.
