GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford came out with very aggressive defensive pressure and forced a plethora of turnovers in route to a 90-48 victory over Western Guilford. The Vikings led by 10 at the end of the first quarter, but blew the game open with a 22-5 run during the first 5½ minutes of the second quarter to extend the lead to 55-30 by halftime.
–Tre Turner led Northwest with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Sam Covington scored 15 while Jaylen Gore and Jalen Spicer both contributed identical stat lines of 11 points and 7 assists.
–Reggie Davis stuffed the stat sheet with 8 rebounds to go along with his 6 points and 5 steals for the Vikings.
–Deshaun Taylor paced the Hornets with 16 points while Ce’darius Dockery added 11 points.
