Greensboro Day School Student Tamera Thorpe Breaks GDS Record Tonight

Tamera Thorpe, a senior on Greensboro Day School’s Varsity Girls basketball team has broken the GDS girls’ career scoring record of 1809 points, previously held by Kelly Robbins ’01. Thorpe surpassed this record by reaching 1,810 points at the game against Dudley High School. The game is still in progress.

Thorpe is playing her fourth season of varsity basketball and is a NCISAA 3A All-State player for the past two seasons. She currently holds school records for points scored in a game (38); field goals made in a game (14); free throws made in a game (14); 3-point shots in a game (5); as well as the Girls’ Single Season record for points scored in a season with 568 and for career 3-point field goals made.

    tunes – Mc – Fly and Mika song titles are much more difficult.
