Reggie Gallaspy(Southern Guilford High School) was named the Player of the Year on the News and Record’s All-Area Football Team in the Christmas Day Edition of the N&R, plus you can catch all of the team on-line at the N&R site when you CLICK HERE.
Saw names like Cam Harris, Mook Reynolds and Duncan Taylordean, along with C.J. Freeman from Northern Guilford, Cameron Clark(Smith), Jarell Mobley(Southern Guilford), Tre Meadows and Nzaire Cromartie(Dudley), Thomas Hennigan(Northwest Guilford), Kevin Gehsmann(Western Guilford), Jarius Morehead(Eastern Guilford) and I’m doing/listing all of those off of memory and if memory serves me correctly, all of those young men were named to the First Team All-Area squad….
I guess NG was the only school with good players There is no way that T.J.Parker shouldn’t have made this list
@Alonzo Jones Parker made honorable mention, which is in the paper but not on the website. Parker’s numbers, even with two different QBs, aren’t even in the ballpark with the receivers who are on first and second team. Heck, there are some HM kids whose numbers are a lot better than his. Parker was good, but those other WRs were better.
