Carolina Panthers win Wild Card Game and move on to Round Two of NFL Playoffs:Greg Olsen top TE in Carolina Panthers’ team history

Carolina Panthers 27-16 over the Arizona Cardinals in today’s Round One NFL Wild Card Playoff game and they will now face either Seattle or Green Bay next week and we will have to wait and see who the opponent will be and we do know for sure that the game will be on the road…

The Panthers had some mistakes on special teams, but so did Arizona and the Panthers were able to capitalize on the Cardinals errors to the tune of two TD’s and Cam Newton had a steady, if not solid day with two TD passes, with one going to Fozzy Whitaker and the other to Mike Tolbert….

Newton had 198 yards passing and 23 yards rushing to go along with his two touchdown tosses….

To me, no matter what happens, Greg Olsen is the top tight end in Carolina Panthers history, now surpassing the work of Wesley Walls….Olsen had three receptions for 37 yards today, but his blocking and other key things he does to help the team can not be measured in numbers alone….Olsen has to one of the smartest football players that play in the league/NFL…..
