Josh Ladowski(Lake Norman HS) named AP’s 2014 High School Football Player of the Year(Southern Guilford’s Gallaspy finishes third)

RALEIGH Lake Norman’s Josh Ladowski is The Associated Press high school football player of the year for North Carolina.

The senior quarterback set a state single-season record with 5,647 yards of total offense while leading his team to the N.C. High School Athletic Association Class 4AA semifinals. He earned seven votes from 20 sports writers across the state….

Reggie Gallaspy, from Southern Guilford High School, finished third in the voting and RG ran for 3,318 yards(tops in the entire state) last season and scored right at, 50 touchdowns….
