  1. I think GDS is a good team. But they almost lost to a team full of 5’10 guards. They aren’t a top 16 team In the county. But they are best team around here besides Wes. Have a happy a New Year

  2. Most recent private school rankings for North Carolina high school teams from NCPreps.com and we still have WES at #1 and GDS at #2 in most recent GreesnsboroSports.com poll…(Harry Giles and Kwe Parker are difference-makers.)

    from NCPreps.com:
    1. Greensboro Day 20-0
    2. Wesleyan Christian Academy 16-2
    3. Word of God 16-1
    4. Charlotte Christian 11-2
    5. Providence Day 11-3
    6. Quality Education 11-3
    7. Burlington School 13-1
    8. Freedom Christian 12-3
    9. Concord First Assembly 11-4
    10. Victory Christian 12-5

  3. I Guess GDS has to be “number 1” because they havent lost. We all know WES is better though. Have a happy new year

  4. With all due respect Mr D Harder, I think GDS has an excellent team and are well deserved a national ranking!! Will Dillard’s athletic ability resembles Russell Westbrook. And their bench is solid; led by a Johnny Manziel lookalike (sorry forgot his name). Much respect to Mr Agba as well!!

    Happy NY!!

  5. Jackie,

You dont think they could beat Wes do you? Ive only seen them a couple times this year. Could Johnny Football off the bench make a difference? or could Will Dillards Athleticism in transition lead to more scoring opportunities for the Bengals. I have my money on Mr Freddy Johnson if it comes to a chess duel, that guy can sure coach some high school athletes.
    Happy new years

    D Harter

  6. Dickie,

I tell you who the real difference maker is on GDS; the Newman kid. He’s another smooth southpaw, and apparently the scouts are oozing at his potential; pretty amazing considering he averages under 5ppg. And to your point, Johnny Football is another one of those Coach Johnson products who makes the correct reads accompanied by very few mistakes. Kinda makes you think the real Johnny Football ought to take notice; ehhh???
