Villains' fans witnessed a thriller in Kernersville Monday night against Australian travel club: The McKinnon Cougars.

The Villains faced an 18 point deficit midway through the third quarter and chipped away at the Cougars' lead where they trailed by 9 points with 1:50 left in the fourth. Bishop then changed defenses and the backcourt combo of Wilson, Moon and Simmons forced 3 quick turnovers that lead to easy baskets and big buckets from Wilson and Moon tied the game in regulation.

The Villains were led in scoring by Devon Woods despite not playing the final seven minutes of the game (OT included). Simmons started the OT period off with a bang by draining his only three pointer of the game. Clutch free throws from Moon and Wilson clinched it for the Villains (6/6 FTA in OT).

Bishop hosts Uwarrie Charter Tuesday night at 8pm.
