GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford came out with singular focus and blitzed the Frankston Blues from Australia with a 16-4 run in the 1st quarter on their way to a 91-47 victory. The Vikings were able to fight through a very physical brand of basketball that the Blues brought with them from “Down Under” as the Vikings amassed 26 assists on 31 field goals.
–The Vikings placed 5 players in double figures and were led by Jaylen Gore who finished with 17 points and 5 assists. Sam Covington contributed 15 points and 6 assists while Reggie Davis amassed 13 points and 7 rebounds. Jalen Spicer dished out and 7 assists for Northwest.
–Thomas Hennigan and Riley Edwards rounded out the double figure scoring for the Vikings with 12 and 10 points respectively.
–Matt Rowbotham led the Frankston Blues with 9 points while Harry Theverly added 7 points.
