Ready to go with our next show, our “Basketball in Focus Show” from the Shane’s Rib Shack on Westover Terrace…..Last week’s show was one of our best ever, with a large listening audience and a good numbers of viewers at YouTube on the days that followed…(Start time tonight is 6pm.)
This week promises to be even bigger and better, with all of our Girls from the Haeco Invitational All-Tournament team due to be with us…We had the guys last week and this week it is the ladies turn to take the spotlight….
We get things rolling at 6pm and in our Coach’s Corner at 6 we have Tommy Adams, from Vandalia Christian School…Tommy took the VCS Viking boys to the state title back in 2013 and tonight he is bringing in a young man from his church that was recently featured on WFMY NEWS 2 for his efforts to feed and help the homeless at Christmas…Tommy and Javon will be on with us at 6 and then at around 6:15 we will be joined by Ryan Nelson, the current coach for the boys team at Vandalia Christian School….We will bring it all into focus with Tommy and his team/crew tonight…..
Then at 6:30 we will switch gears and enter into our interviews with our 2014 Haeco Women’s All Tournament Team members and this will include Tamera Thorpe from Greensboro Day School, Kelly Lomax and Ellisa Cunane from Northern Guilford, plus Hayley Barber, Toni Tucker and Morgan Pointer from Northwest Guilford High School….
Tamera Thorpe just got nominated to the McDonald’s All-American team on Wednesday and we have Kelly, Ellisa, Hayley, Toni and Morgan all on the program and we get to talk about the success each of them has been experiencing this season, with their respective teams….
Lots of basketball talk tonight at the Shane’s Rib Shack and the food is top-notch every day and night at Shane’s…..Ribs, Chicken, BBQ, Burgers, all types of sandwiches, plus chicken tenders, chicken wings, chicken salad, BBQ Chicken, you could almost call Shane’s Rib Shack, the “Shane’s Chicken Coop” with all of the chicken offerings that they put out there, but boy those ribs are really good and the BBQ and those HUGE burgers and those vegetables, with Okra, Corn, Beans(Baked and Green Beans), Brunswick Stew and they have a real nice grilled cheese sandwich that goes with that Brunswick Stew and with the Super Bowl Game(Super Bowl Sunday) coming up you have to be thinking about loading up on some of their Wings and maybe the baked beans and potato salad, or the salad greens or a tossed salad, or maybe those Chicken Tenders or a load of Ribs….
