Smith….Smith has beaten Dudley and Southeast Guilford, while the Page young men have topped Grimsley and Southeast Guilford….Women’s game should be a good one too, as the Page girls try to remain unbeaten in conference play, now at (2-0) for 2015…..GreensboroSports Radio for all of your high school action coming in from Guilford County this evening….And be sure to listen back to all of our interviews from our Basketball in Focus Show, recorded and now on Replay here at GreensboroSports Radio….

High School Hoops for tonight:
High Point Christian at Greensboro Day 5:30pm…..Very large game for the boys with GDS needing this one as a major tuneup for WES next Tuesday night at Wesleyan…HPCA girls coached by Sam Beasley and we are still trying to make the connection to find out if he is the brother of Dave Beasley at Southeast Guilford…..GDS girls are having another strong season led by Gloria Smith-Bunch and Mahlon Brady and then there’s that Thorpe kid(Tamera) too….Brian Hall and the WFMY NEWS 2 Sports team will be there getting film for their “Nothing But Net” show for later this evening at maybe 11:11 on WFMY 2…Brian had the news on twitter earlier today and that man keeps the Twitter wires hot….
Page at Smith 6pm….Maybe I am crazy as a loon, but to me the HPCA-GDS and the Smith-Page games look to be the biggest games of the night….Page-Smith boys might be just a bit bigger since they are both at (2-0) and looking to claim supremacy in the Metro 4-A….
Dudley at Grimsley 6pm….Gonna be a good test for both teams in the boys game this evening….
Southwest Guilford at Ragsdale 6pm…..Earlier in the year it looked like it would be all SWG in this contest, but now the Ragsdale men are showing some major signs of life, but will it be enough to slow down the Cowboys that have two Langleys, a Mitchell, a Ferguson and a Smith that must the Tigers must contend with….SWG girls must be in prep-mode for NWG next Friday and not slip up on the way…
Northwest Guilford at High Point Central 6pm….NWG should roll in both of these games tonight and the 40-point rule probably will rear its ugly head in the girls game and it might be on the move in the men’s game too….NWG at SWG next Friday night and the matchup is picking up some steam now…Both NWG teams will be able to use all of the players in these games and it might be the case where they get deep into their benches early in the first half….
Southeast Guilford at Southern Alamance 6pm….SEG girls need this one to keep pace with Page and Dudley, Falcon ladies already down one, after falling to Page last week….SA boys are battle-tested and they should be primed for this one…
Northeast Guilford at Eastern Guilford 6pm….Girls game could turn out to be a war with names like Dinah Neal and Michelle Jeffries ready for NEG and EG’s LeeAysia Williamson and Callie Patterson ready to roll out the ‘blue carpet’ for NEG as they enter and leave the building/gym….Sort of see EG leaving NEG way behind in the men’s contest, but maybe NEG has a different plan and will make this Mid-State 3-A rival game interesting…
Southern Guilford at Western Guilford 6pm……SG girls now at (7-7) and led by Nikomis Williams and the Storm should be in line to take the women’s game and for the men, this could turn out to be a good one….WG not feeling anything like themselves from last year and maybe time to let it loose tonight, but SG is game-planning and they are future-planning at the same time….
High Point Andrews at Randleman 6pm…..Andrews girls in this one after taking a hard loss at the hands of the Dudley Panthers the other night and the Randleman boys are having a very good year and this ought to be exactly what they are looking for tonight, another win…..
East Forsyth at Glenn 6pm…..East boys tough and Glenn girls tough, so let’s see if this bears out this evening….
Graham at Reidsville 6pm
Ledford at Asheboro 6pm…..Ledford has been having a good year on both ends, but Asheboro has more to say about this….
McMichael at Rockingham County 6pm……ROCK girls and McMichael boys are how this should shape up…
North Stokes at Bishop McGuinness 6:30pm….Spencer Wilson nominated to McDonald’s All-American team this week…
Chatham Charter at Vandalia (girls only) 7pm and VCS boys are facing the Greensboro Home School tonight….
Wesleyan at Bass Pro Shops tournament (boys only)….WES vs. Bishop O’Dowd(Oakland, California) at 9:30pm…..
