Ragsdale Swimmers surging forward to Fast and Furious Finish

Courtesy of Brian Herndon, Ragsdale Athletics Director:

The proud tradition of the Ragsdale Tiger Swim program is enjoying a tremendous boost this year, as new head coach Greg Peoples has the Tiger’s surging forward in a direction of statewide excellence.

The Tigers have been hard at work since late October, splashing in the Ragsdale YMCA pool hours before the actual school day begins. Ragsdale’s current record in Dual Meets is 2-2, and the Tigers had a very strong showing in the Prestigious Bob Sawyer Invitational held in the Greensboro Aquatic Center. The Tigers also had a strong showing at the Annual Freshman/Sophomore Invitational at the beginning of the season; the meet was held at Greensboro Smith. Ragsdale High School and the entire Ragsdale Community are extremely proud of the skill level, work ethic, dedication, and commitment that our swimmers exhibit every day.

Coach Peoples and our Swimmers are great ambassadors for the Diamond R and our Tiger Nation! Congratulations and a huge thank you to Coach Peoples and our Swimmers for the great job you do and for always representing RHS with class.
