Local Division One Girls/Womens Basketball Players in the Stretch Run

The Women Basketball season is entering the stretch run with post season Tournaments lurking. Our local girls and their teams are gearing up for a final push. Every player on every team has a role to play which could be entirely different from what they were ask to do or allowed to do in High-school. Some adjust quickly and some do not. Injuries are still a major part of this game and at some point an injury or two will happen. Some will be minor and some will be major. The ability to come back to help ones team denotes a since of pride and tremendous character backed with a unique work ethic. Below some local girls teams will have a chance to win 20 games for the first time in their college career or maybe even challenge for a conference or tournament championship or a post season bid to the NCAA or WNIT. A lot of basketball remains and a lot of things will change over the next month as March Madness approaches.
