The Brevard College Tornados’ baseball team is off to a good start at (4-2) overall and (2-1) in the South Atlantic Conference and they have Christian Dix(Northwest Guilford High School) to thank for much of their early season success….

Dix is hitting at a .357 clip overall and he’s batting .500 in the conference, good for 5th in the league….

Dix has gone 5-10 in the conference at the plate, with 2 runs and 1 RBI and that is through 3 South Atlantic Conference games…..

The left fielder and former NWG Viking heavy hitter is enjoying his stay in the North Carolina mountains up at Brevard and the mountain air seems to suit him just fine so far in 2015…..

Keep an eye on Brevard and you know they will keep playing hard with Dix in the dugout and on the field for the Tornados…..

Locals also on the Brevard baseball team along with Christian Dix, Kyle Morrison(Ragsdale HS) and Bennett Hixon(Wesleyan Christian Academy)….
Plus Brevard has Assistant Coach:Avery Booker(Western Alamance) and Booker is Jack McKeon’s grandson and Greg Booker’s son….
