The North Carolina rosters for the 2015 Carolinas All Star Basketball Classic have been announced. In its 18th year, the all-star game, which features some of the top seniors from North Carolina against their counterparts in South Carolina, will be held Saturday, Mar. 28, at Socastee High, in Socastee, S.C. The girls game will tip off at 6:30 p.m., followed by the boys.
The Slam Dunk and 3-Point Contests will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Friday, Mar. 27, at Myrtle Beach High School, in Myrtle Beach, SC.

So none of our kids in this region was good enough to make the teams? Basketball is down in this area.
Hate to use that old term the coaches used to use back in the day, but wait until next year…
Next year should be good for us if everyone stays in place…
The problem with this area is that a lot of the “most” talented players went the private school route. Every year it seems 2-3 of the top 5 players that don’t focus on football goes the private school route either as a freshman or by their junior year. It is not as great on the girls side but it’s building.
