He hit went six-for-11 with three runs scored, two doubles and three RBI. Roberts was a home run shy of hitting for the cycle and had a career-high three hits in Guilford’s 9-3 home win over Averett University Feb. 11. He delivered an RBI triple in the fifth that broke a 1-1 tie and had a sacrifice fly an inning later that opened a 4-2 lead. Roberts had a hit and a stolen base in the Quakers’ 2-0 win over NCAA Division II Bluefield State College Feb. 14 and went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in the nightcap, a 9-2 Guilford win.
