ELON, N.C. – The Elon University softball team has rescheduled its contest against Campbell to Tuesday, March 3, with a 4 p.m. start time at Hunt Softball Park.
The Phoenix and the Camels were originally slated for a midweek contest today, Feb. 18, but that game was originally canceled along with the maroon and gold’s home tournament this weekend, the Phoenix Opening Tournament, due to recent and impending winter weather in the region. The Elon-Campbell game will instead be postponed until the start of next month.
Elon will turn its focus to its first true road contest of the year at in-state rival North Carolina next Wednesday, Feb. 25. That game is scheduled for a 5 p.m. start time in Chapel Hill, N.C.
