Friday’s HPU Women’s Lacrosse Game Moved To 4 p.m.

HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University women’s lacrosse team has announced a time change for its home contest against Virginia Tech on Friday (Feb. 20).

First draw between the Panthers and Hokies will take place at 4 p.m. The game was originally scheduled to be played at 6 p.m.

The Panthers opened the season at No. 2 North Carolina on Feb. 13 and dropped a close 9-8 contest to Oregon on Sunday (Feb. 15) in the team’s home opener inside Vert Stadium.

Junior Allie Foard leads HPU with six points on four goals and two assists this season, while senior goalkeeper Julia Burns is anchoring the High Point defense with 10.0 saves/game so far in 2015.
